„Every experience in your life has led you to this moment“ that’s what I tell myself every single day.
I was born in 1999 in Stuttgart and grew up in southern Germany. From a very young age, I loved movies and going to the cinema. I spent hours and hours watching films and reenacting the scenes or devising alternative endings. Even before I could write, I worked out scripts and dictated them to my dad.
Although I knew early on that my place is behind the camera, I was very interested in acting and considered the work with actors as one of the most important tasks of a director. So I attended the Stage Coach School for dance, singing and theater and later moved to the „Kulturkabinett Bad Cannstatt“, a little theater in Stuttgart where I wrote, staged and played my own pieces. In 2015, I decided to give up acting to fully dedicate myself to making movies.
In 2014, I founded the independent film production „BlackRiverProduction“ with a school friend, which produced several of my short feature films. Over the next three years, I wrote about a dozen different screenplays and realized them within the company. In 2017 our paths separated due to the distance and we dissolved the company.
At the age of 17, I won the „Perle der Altmark“ at the Arendsee Film Festival 2016 with my film „Faszination“(„Fascination“). In the same year, I shot the film „Träume aus Glas“(„Dreams of glass“), which celebrated its premiere on January 20th, 2017 at the Metropolkino Stuttgart.
In 2017, I passed my A-Levels and have since devoted myself exclusively to making films. In the spring of 2018, I wrote and directed „Morgen kommt ein neuer Tag“ („Tomorrow comes a new day“), a drama set in the 1970s, and afterward shot the experimental film „Ein ungewöhnliches Treffen“ („An unusual meeting“). My next short film „Das grüne Sofa“ („The green couch“), a drama about child abuse, was shot in winter of the same year. At the beginning of 2019, I wrote and directed „We the people“ a drama about a group of radical environmental activists.
In 2018 I moved to Berlin and work as a freelancer in Probs to finance my films.
